This blog will be used during the school year to allow my students to write for a global auidence. It is important for them to know that others want to read about their ideas and what they are learning.
Summer School
Tomorrow, I am starting a class at the University of Tulsa. It is for teachers in public education and will cover science subjects. I am very excited about this because it will provide me with some excellent sources in the community to use with my students.
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Jerry, son, Bobby, daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Tom, and my dog, Angus. Of course we also send a lot of time with our grandchildren, Jake and Angela...nothing like seeing the world through the eyes of a child. Some of my favorite things to do involve anything outside (camping in Colorado, gardening, cruising in the car, etc.) and car shows with my husband. Of course, as my students will tell you...I bleed orange and black. My son graduated from OSU Tech in Okmulgee, my daughter graduated from Oklahoma State University and my son-in-law is a police officer in Stillwater. So to say the least, I am a Cowboy fan and in particular...a basketball fan.
